Hello and Welcome!

Muskegon Heights Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, has proudly served Muskegon County since December 1976.

We are dedicated to Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service.

Our chapter has stood steadfast in offering services to the Muskegon community by applying the five-point programmatic thrust in a variety of activities and programs which benefit all ethnic backgrounds.

The organization's Five Points Programmatic Thrust are:

~ Economic Development

~ Educational Development

~ International Awareness and Involvement

~ Physical and Mental Health

~ Political Awareness and Involvement

In the spirit of continuing Delta’s lifelong commitment to education, Muskegon Heights Alumnae Chapter has awarded more than $50,000 in scholarships to deserving college-bound students.

The chapter welcomes the opportunity to partner with other organizations and community leaders who share the same goals and ideals.

OUR HISTORY

The Muskegon Heights Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was organized on December 12, 1976.

The twelve charter members paved the way and dedicated themselves to the ideals and purpose of the Delta founders.

OUR PROGRAMS

As part of our community outreach, we help distribute meals at the local Mission for Area People, supporting individuals and families facing food insecurity.

Food insecurity is often tied to poverty and unemployment. These are core economic issues. And providing nutritious meals promotes physical and mental health, another Five-Point Programmatic Thrust in our public service initiative.
