Thank you for your interest in applying for the Muskegon Heights Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Scholarship. We are now accepting applications for the 2023-24 Academic Year. Completed Application Packets must be postmarked or electronically submitted no later than Friday, March 29, 2024.
 

The Scholarship Committee will evaluate candidates based on community service, academic achievement, a personal statement, a written essay, an interview, and letters of recommendation. Community Service is the essential component of the award. All applicants must possess a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 grade scale calculated through the end of the second quarter or first semester of their senior year, and plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two or four-year college/university in the Summer or Fall of 2024.

Please refer to the application guidelines to ensure that you are submitting a complete application packet.  Incomplete application packets WILL NOT be considered for scholarship awards. Candidates may be required to participate in an interview with the members of the Scholarship Committee.

Application requirements are as follows:

• United States Citizen
• Completed and signed application
• An official signed high-school transcript
• Letter of acceptance to a college or other educational institution
• Two letters of recommendation
• An essay explaining why the scholarship should be received
• Signed photo release form and a recent photo
